This Toxic Gaslighting of a Nation Cannot Stand...

They really are this brazen and they really do think they will get away with it. That cannot happen. They are literally attempting to dismantle a nation of laws before our very eyes.

'The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power.' 1984

When future generations look back at this period it will be used as a lesson learnt on the fragility of democracy when moral voids of nasty take control, if even for a moment.

Quite frankly what they are doing is just bloody outrageous. This cannot and will not stand. The tide will turn and this pernicious and malevolent damn of untruths will burst. It has too.

Republicans (and especially Trump) want everyone to believe that 45 is the all-around greatest human being in the history of the universe, and that the vengeful Christianist god placed him in the White House to save America. And all the “godless” Democrats and the “enemy-of-the-people” free press are expending every effort to prevent the stable genius to rule as a noble, self-sacrificing monarch who talks fire and fury.

And in the paragraph above, there is NOT ONE SINGLE THING listed that observably occurs in this time/space reality. But nevertheless, the crazy right wants all this horse-flop to be “true,” even if it means destroying democracy and embracing every authoritarian ruler on the planet.

The point in the first graphic needs to be repeated whenever possible, esp to wobbly low-info types but also to cult members. Calmly, deliberately. They won't be able to deny it. The more they have to think about it the better.

Counter propaganda must be True, Clear, Targeted, and Repeated at least as often as the propaganda lie is repeated.

The short man from Moscow is using and manipulating them and their supporters. Putin wants another country to steal from, and he's chosen the US. The GOP and Dumpy are just carrying out the Russian dictator's agenda.

Of course the American filthy rich are standing on the sidelines applauding and grabbing up the money.

It's not just the GOP but corporatists/plutocrats/kleptocrats/etc. and any other members of the deep state working to advance their pro-corporate agendas.

Its a trap for Democrats to play this game -- we versus Republicans. Neither side can win because the very core issues that polarize us also define us. Democrats need to target the true enemy: the 1%. This is a battle we can win.

... the inordinate FEAR that incumbent Republicans have of the supposed BASE of Trump supporters in this country - and the fact that it has all been a RUSE.

It's all lies - they have no power, they have no base. We must stop listening to the media pundits/Faux Snooze lies and think for ourselves. We Dems and liberal-thinking independents so far outnumber the supposed "base" that have held sway for the last 3 years. We're calling them on their lies and greed, and we must vote consistently with our hearts and minds. Vote these assholes out of power and never again listen to their bullshit.

This country is never going to fully "heal". Over 1/3 of Americans are getting a distorted and often times completely false narrative of reality. GOP KNOWS this, at least half of the GOP (I'll say, the younger ones) are actually a product of echo chamber. So on one hand you have uneducated/completely misled voters and on the other you have uneducated/completely misled elected officials. That's a dangerous 1-2 punch of dumb.
