“I, (ABC) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

I don't know if you read "Shower Cap's" Blog, but he refers to Nunes as that "pig fucker" all the time.

this isn't a classical 'jury trial' but many of the strategies and tactics they use are appropriate. They arrange the witnesses to build the story up, line by line, so that in the eyes of the jury (in this case, the American public) the end of the story is irrefutable (hopefully).

You can see it on the Repub Council's face. He knows he's fighting a losing battle.

Still probably won't flip any Trumplodytes, or the Senate, but it could and should sway the millions who are "in the middle" when it comes to Trump.

what the Foreign Service does, he would have had no idea. Unfortunately, millions in our country wanted someone with no government experience to be in charge of our country. That people preferred that is what I cannot deal with. As a 35-year human resources person who has worked for many organizations of different sizes and types, I would ask those people, "Would you hire someone in your company to do a job they weren't suited for?"

There was a time when people voted for the person who we could trust to keep us safe and our country running smoothly. The downhill slide came in the 1980's when a considerable portion of our voting populace decided they wanted perception over substance.
