Seriously I was in Costco last week and turned the top of his stacks over, then placed Rachel's book on top. (there were twice as many of her book too)

Same thing with big name multimillionaire evangelists. If you can't win playing by the rules, change the rules.

Here's how it works: To ensure a spot on The Wall Street Journal's Bestseller list, you need to sell about 3,000 books in the first week and to hit gold and the New York Times Bestseller list, you'll need 9,000 copies sold in the first week.

The books don't have to be sold at full retail price, so placing a single order of 3,000 books should get you a hefty discount if you buy directly from the publisher.

but, when you pull off a stunt like this to jack up the book sales, isn't it supposed to be done in a manner where no one else ever finds out?

You know, to fool the rubes into believing they are all one book at a time sales.

They probably had to trash them. Big bonfire out in back of the Oval Office.
