Not right just because we are us

Will POTUS never stop betraying the American people? He betrayed our honor by refusing to protect the Kurdish population. He betrays that honor again by requesting the Ukrainian president do some dirty work for him. He betrays everyone by leaving the Paris accords.

He does this in the name of “America First.” That’s also “Amerika Uber Alles,” an idea first slightly rephrased some time ago by another “leader” in Germany.

Stop trying to intimidate whistleblowers

Crime Stoppers is a local organization that encourages anonymously sourced information on criminal activity. Endorsed by local law enforcement, the need for keeping the identity of those reporting secret has never been challenged, the reasons being patently obvious. Media also respects this need for protecting those who aid is necessary in rooting out local corruption.

But now we have the president and members of Congress calling for the release of the names of those who participate in a similar program at the federal level, whose identities are legally protected for identical reasons. Now I am sure the criminals arrested as a result of Crime Stopper tips would also like a chance to have their associates intimidate and harm the witnesses against them during investigations. If they could make an example of one informer, they can send a chilling message to all other decent citizens who would like to come forward and help in the battle against crime and corruption.

Our president and his political party, afraid of what truths might be revealed by the good people working in our government, have adopted the tactics of a criminal organization. So be it, let them be treated as one. - Fresno Bee

Yet they do.

The Fresno Bee has historically been overshadowed by it's sister, and flagship newspaper, The Sacramento Bee, but in the last few years it's upped its game and has been doing some sterling journalism.

11. Everyone says 22nd congressional district is solidly red, but it's....

actually a purple district and the pubs dominance is slowly eroding as the demographics morph; it's just a matter of time before the seat flips.

A couple of things will speed up the process:

Devin Nunes implodes and is exposed for what he is (He's halfway there now)

A strong Democratic candidate that can excite the voters (Phil Arballo. A little birdie told me Phil's war chest is gonna fill up when the Judiciary investigation opens)

A grassroots movement to GOTV. (it's already happening and the pubs are not to happy to see a ton new Democratic voters registering to vote)

It's astounding to me that idiots like Nunes and Duncan Hunter keep getting reelected - and with Hunter facing charges!

I think we Dems deal with skeeze-balls in a better fashion. Repubs just keep putting them back in office. "He may be an asshole, but he's OUR asshole."

Putin's agenda on a daily basis. AND if this amoral president is so damn innocent, then he would permit Mulvaney, Pompeo, Bolton, and Rudy to testify and he would release all documents. If he isn't removed, who knows what he will do in the next year. (currently reducing funds to Nato). Call or write your congressional representative.
