He had a heart Cath about a month ago we got the bill yesterday. Just for the hospital it was over$30,000 and they didn't find anything. So all that money just to look. I really feel for people who have no insurance. Something has to be done.

that people with affordable and good quality insurance should have to give it up. Medicare Advantage plans do not leave a 30,000 dollar surgical or hospitalization bill and cost far less than such a bill. Good thing the little girl was not on NHS or she might not have been seen in emergency that day, or have been seen by a substandard doctor.

I am tired of the scare and fear tactics. M4All is a losing issue. Candidates need to talk about protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare.

universal healthcare in OUR party, but Republican voters want it also. Every Democratic president has called for it since and including Harry Truman, it's in our party platform, and the vast majority of our Democrats in congress, Democratic governors, and Democrats in state governments support it.

On top of all that, Sanders' MfA is actually a capitalism-based program very similar to the ACA. No revolution.

So if you think about it, an issue can't really get less controversial than one supported by almost everyone, which means all the controversy and dissension are fake, phony, divisive noise made up for campaign purposes. And in spite of attempts to divide, we all still want universal healthcare and will support our Democratic legislators as they work on it in 2021.

Btw, almost certainly our legislators will be building on the ACA. Remember, they're the ones who wrote and passed the ACA in the first place. Congress legislates, presidents turn the paper laws they receive from congress into reality. Candidates who promise they'd "do" it as president are, frankly, deceiving their listeners.

9. :) How is everyone wants the same things bad for us?

We all need to be able to see past the media spin to the wonderful, inspiring truth about where we're at. Can you think of even a single important issue the party is genuinely divided about? There is none. The long-suffering black monolith is coalescing around a nice white man they feel they know well enough to trust. As for MfA, a few of Sanders' followers are passionately for it because it's his, but even for a large majority who currently say they'd vote for him it's not a make-or-break issue at all. As for voters in general, no.

And let's face it, all candidates who are claiming they'd create this new law/program or that are lying through their teeth. That's harsh, but they deserve it because they know far too many don't understand the roles of president and congress and are using that ignorance to deceive voters.

Winter arrived here last night. Packing for Florida today.

that we all want everyone to have good healthcare. However, we disagree in how to get there.

I am not disagreeing with you. I think, however, a bid to take private insurance away from those who want to keep it is not a good one in this election year. But except for Sanders—and he does offer a plan of recompense—plans candidates support are similar.

Uniting around a common goal we share with a wider public is good. You are seeing more unity on this issue than the media depicts, true, or than my more limited perspective allowed me to see. I am heartened by the good news you bring!

So insane. People shouldn’t be in fear of potentially going debt in a possible life or death situation? Obviously this wasn’t that high on the spectrum, but seeing how expensive this little procedure is.. wow.
