It's been reported that he's meeting with the corrupt prosecutors who were thrown out.

I wouldn't be surprised if soon they came out and announced that they vouch for Trump's ridiculous theories about Ukraine. They were there and have first hand knowledge!

Rudy could trying to bribe them to make up stories to support Trump and help get the impeachment off his back.

5. Article I saw today said Giuliani is making a documentary series to help Trump

Supposedly Giuliani is trying to help Trump fight impeachment by propping up Trump's false claims about the Bidens and corruption by setting up interviews with Ukraine officials to be televised.

Don't recall where I saw the article about Giuliani working on a documentary propaganda film series

Giuliani, Facing Scrutiny, Travels to Europe to Interview Ukrainians

President Trump’s personal lawyer has been in Budapest and Kyiv this week to talk with former Ukrainian prosecutors for a documentary series intended to debunk the impeachment case. [snip]

The European trip was organized around the filming of a multipart television series featuring Mr. Giuliani that is being produced and aired by a conservative cable channel, One America News, or OAN.

The series, the first two installments of which have already aired, is being promoted as a Republican alternative to the impeachment hearings, including Ukrainian “witnesses” whom House Democrats running the inquiry declined to call. Some of the Ukrainians interviewed by Mr. Giuliani were sworn in on camera to “testify under oath” in a manner that the network claims “debunks the impeachment hoax.”

Mr. Giuliani was joined in Budapest by an OAN crew, including the reporter hosting the series, Chanel Rion, who conducted an interview in the Hungarian capital with Mr. Lutsenko, according to someone familiar with the interview.

I think I saw a headline saying he's over there to shoot clips for TV that support the GOP propaganda. So yes, he may have to offer some bribes.

I also heard somebody suggest that he may be over there trying to gather stuff for his own defense.

They were never gonna do that.

They were always gonna get their cut, and then disappear. As soon as they got Ukraine to say there was an investigation, or their cut of the money or whatever, they were just gonna let the whole thing fade away.

The whole purpose is to bias the election for Trump so they have to keep going.
If Trump loses he also loses his protection from prosecution and there will be a new Attorney General and head of the IRS.
He also loses the ability to pardon so everyone goes to jail.

BTW: In New York the statute of limitations is 6 years so if he didn't leave the presidency until 2024 his crimes would not be able to be charged. An extra incentive for him to do anything at all to win again.

Let's imagine he was over there setting up a cast of characters and a story against Biden. Giuliani would have had a hard time getting anyone to bite on the story if he broke it himself. No one would listen to him. Giuliani would need somebody "official" to discover the case against Biden that Giuliani had set up.

So that could be why Trump came in and tried to get Zelensky to start an "investigation" and talk to Giuliani. Zelensky was being set up to do Trump's dirty work. He would start the investigation and, surprise, he would find this little frame-up scenario Giuliani engineered. Giuliani would (if we continue the speculation) not have to publicize the story himself. He could rely on Fox News and other outlets "reporting" on it.

Now, with the cat out of the bag, Giuliani could be going to Plan B. Film a "documentary" and put it on Fox News.
