Interesting distraction, but eyes on the ball, folks. It's Trump, corrupt and treasonous Republican leadership, and Russia. And as it happens, the leaders of Iran's theocratic faux democracy.

And remember, for all what can be portrayed as questionable decisions by us and the Shah in retrospect, Iran's last shah was trying to effect liberalizing, progressive revolution to move his nation into the 20th century when the reaction of a far-right RW religious counter-revolution won and ended this relatively enlightened and liberal shah's dynasty.

More than a little like the attempted RW takeover going on in the U.S. 40 years later. Who would have thought?
