(33,569 posts)The letter is not really aimed at Speaker Pelosi; she is the excuse for the rant.
Nothing in the letter is addressed to Nancy except the header.

(6,831 posts)His ADD does not permit his attention to be this focused for this long a period of time. If you have read any of his tweets, you KNOW he is no where near this articulate and intelligible. Some one else (Mulvaney ? Miller ? Stephanie Grisham has my vote.) wrote this after listening to him whine and scream for hours. trumpie has never written a six-page letter to anyone in his life. Much less one that flows like this.

(9,999 posts)did he really think he could dazzle Nancy with his prose and make her see the error of her ways? Being the stable genius and smartest guy in the world, did he think he could bring her around to seeing how great a President he has been? Or maybe, did he think he could guilt trip her into saying: "Oh well, maybe he is right. Let's just forget about this nonsense and work with him." After all, manipulating women has always worked for him before. This is one clueless mess of a fool.

(25,993 posts)As with just about everything Trump does, it was red meat for the base. Timing it for the the day before the impeachment vote was intentional. Loud distraction and disturbance, vulgar performance theatre for the masses - it's his gimmick.

(6,649 posts)News of her dismissal will really get shitler's BP up.
I read the whole thing (vomit bag at the ready) and IMO it could be used at his next feel-good rally. Not sure he'd be able to get through any words with more than 4 letters, though. One thing for sure, it definitely was not written by him - although he'll lay claim to it and say it was a 'perfect' letter.
Geeze, what a buttwad.
A glance and a dismissal shows she gave it the appropriate consideration it deserves as a(n) historical document.

(6,580 posts)I also think that someone else wrote this letter, probably while he ranted. I wonder who is running the government while he is doing stuff like this. Shame on the enablers.

(6,965 posts)Because I know some Dominionists and Dominionist-leaning evangelicals who actually do believe the Constitution is "phony" - because Thomas Jefferson cut stuff out of his Bible. Or something. Tes I know there's a difference between Jefferson and Madison, and between the DEclaration and the Constitution. But yo know how ignorant they are.
