The remarks are blistering testimony about their platoon chief, who was protected by President Trump from punishment.

You cannot be trusted to discipline your own ranks so I’m going to do it for you. This is what is particularly upsetting to the military. Drumpf has basically told them they don’t know how to do their jobs. The president is C in C which tradition says he tells the military what to do but not how to do it.

Drumpf has shattered that in more ways that just this. He has injected himself into the chain of command and dishonored those that carried out their place in it by so blatantly cutting them off and the knees.

His disdain for the military is like nothing I’ve ever seen from a president.

The ones who weren't white nationalists/KKK/Nazis to begin with are deserting him. Saw a poll the other day where he only had 48% approval among current military. I was shocked in a very good way. I thought the military was almost monolithic in being right wing since there's no longer a draft. So glad to see that the military folks are starting to pay attention and realize what a danger he is. Our good friend who is a retired LT voted for drumpf last time, to his everlasting shame. He's so embarassed at what a bad choice he made and what drumpf is doing to the country, that he, a lifelong Repug, said he would only vote Dem or not at all until drumpf was out of office.

He will use these individuals to drive a wedge between fanatics who believe he is their only protector and the rest of the troops who are beginning to have serious doubts about him.

Given enough time, he will have his own personal army, loyal only to him.
