Plan the heist. Create a theory. Frame it as moral. Find an economist front man. Lobby politicians. Hoodwink voters. Sprint to the goal line.

It's all bunk but the media will convince the public and no one will ever figure it out.

as a friend used to say.

And my solution to the Republican generated budget shortfalls? Keep more taxes close to where they were generated, The "liberal" blue areas generally generate the most tax revenues on the local/state/federal level so let them keep it. And I'd do this for all programs including social security. Better yet let's have a little experiment and try this for six months and see which areas of this county are truly the "takers" that conservatives constantly rail against.

Some of us knew it wasn't raining when Saint Reagan handed out the umbrellas, but people are still falling for it.

In my opinion,"Pissing" on someone is akin to rape. It's a power play...meant to convey utter disgust.

The OP's graphic is illustrative of how the power elite strangles government, and in the process, undermines public confidence in government. As she noted: "Rinse and repeat". It's part of their long running effort to reduce the Federal Government to the point that it can finally "be drowned in a bathtub."

Lower taxes on the rich...but wait! There's more! Rake in a chunk of what government budget is left with private incarceration! And as a special gift, private border gulags for those pesky brown people! All brought to you by rampant, no-bid federal contracts! No competition so you can charge Uncle Sam whatever the hell you like!

One thing I don't hear hardly anyone talking about is the explosion of no-bids since W. Want to save taxpayer money? Clamp down hard on no-bids.

After declining for the last 6 years of the Obama administration it has increased both years of the Trump administration. There is no better measure of the state of the real economy than how the most vulnerable are treated. It rots from the bottom up under trickle down.

Corporations take advantage of Step 10 by reviving what in a sense is slavery . . . the cheapest labor for maximum profit.
