There was no imminent threat

The revelation of this second attack conveys significant amounts of effort and planning to coordinate 2 major operations within 24 hrs of each other in iraq on two major actors.

You don't undertake operations like this on a whim. Its incredibly complicated and time consuming.

This now exposes an actual pre-planned and considered effort in iraq as opposed to a reaction to an imminent threat.

Was the Gang of Eight notified of this second attack before it happened?

When will Congress be notified of this second attack?

By briefing on the first without talking about the second is a purposeful lie of omission. The executive branch is overtly subverting the powers of Congress.
