Wondering who would be best for our candidate and party, to WIN.
(Have asked in Dem Primaries, and received no responses.)

(36,074 posts)I don't know about anybody else in DU, but this is way above my average Democratic voter pay grade.
It's a mammoth business in this huge country.
All the names I've heard come up are old school. So anyone new on the scene, like Brad Parscale or David Plouffe, for instance, seems to come out of some well kept secret 'safe house' of stratagists.
Here's a list I found, though Plouffe isn't on it, which shows how 'asset' or intel protective the business might be.

Do campaign managers manage the ground logistics and message spread,
while strategists spread the messages sequence across different publics,
and political consultants sit at the center between managers and strategists, with the candidate being everyone's guide? I can only guess. Maybe it shouldn't be that way.
Thanks for asking, though, because just the question should get DU'ers to think about how, who, why, etc., about all this expensive political process we voters and party members have foisted upon us.
