What We Know

What we know about Trump’s actions in Iraq are the same things we know about everything else he does:

* It’s something that will benefit him financially and/or politically
* It’s a distraction from the disaster that resulted from the last thing he did
* Obama did it – so he needs to do it more bigly
* Vlad told him to do it

Everything else is irrelevant spin – usually crafted after the fact, and devoid of anything even close to the truth.

‘Official’ statements are made, ‘official’ reasons are given. RW spokes-whores flood the news shows, Trump-‘splainin’ the brilliance of whatever-the-fuck the fuckhead-in-chief just did – which has usually already proven to be a disaster by the time they hit the Green Room.

Inevitably, what we know in the end is exactly what we already knew from the beginning. He did it for one of the reasons above.
