Honestly, just what percentage of Americans do you think had even heard of this guy, knew who he was, what country he was from, etc. before this happened?

My guess would be about less than 2%. So for CNBC to call him "No. 1 bad guy" is just plain silly, but this will be the meme that the mass media will bring forward ad nauseum until Americans believe it.
