If open warfare begins between Iran and the U.S., please look out and stand up for your Iranian American neighbors and coworkers. Do not allow the passions of a nation at war to overspill as before and destroy the lives of innocent citizens and residents of our country.

4. I've written a lot here about how my work colleagues & I responded to 911 with the Muslim women

and their families that worked with us, especially given our workplace was not far from a Denver mosque that would surely be targeted. (We essentially "adopted" them all and arranged a volunteer list for them to call for any purpose--including escorts if they felt intimidation. It worked very well and we found some other workplaces followed suit).

I saw this, this morning and think it is great. I know I've used similar tactics when I've noticed others being singled out and harrassed--not only Muslim women.

I remember after 9/11 and the Iraq invasion people commiting hate crimes against anyone they thought looked "muslim" or "Arab".

who worked for a supposedly liberal government agency proclaiming that
a fellow employee who was neither Arab nor Muslim should be fired because
"we are at war with those people". With the orange fuhrer at the helm now,
who knows what they think or would try to do.
