Was it an act of war?

Or was it an act to prevent war, as Trump has said?

Are we safer today than we were a week ago?

Mr Trump has muddied and confused the situation in the Middle East.

We do not know what might arise out of this assassination?

Should it be addressed in the United Nations?

There are still a lot of questions outstanding.

It is a time for cooler heads to prevail. Threats and bellicose tweets do nothing to help the situation.

It is a time for diplomacy and statesmanship.

By this time next week, we may understand much better the gravity of this action.

Same with State and Justice.

Not even Mossad wanted Soleimani dead.

So. Who’s talking about Ukraine this weekend?

of another nation is an act of war.

It's not necessarily a declaration of war. And with Trump backpedaling in denial, lying that he acted to stop war, it's up to Iran to decide if they are at war with the United States. Probably not formally because everyone agrees the U.S. would win a land war.

But hell yes informally. THAT warfare continues no matter what official actions they take.

Btw, IRAN HELPED ELECT TRUMP. And they, including Suleimani, who would have been part of that decision, undoubtedly knew Trump was mentally disordered, dangerously unstable and erratic, pathologically clueless about everything he needed to know, and easily manipulated.
