What Trump has done could very well led to major attacks against American targets in the US itself. I wonder if that could be what Trump wants to have happen. Putin used terrorist attacks to consolidate power in Russia. Perhaps Trump is hoping to be able to do the same thing. Trump doesn't give a damn about the American people all he cares about is himself and I can see him and Barr both doing this as a power grab.
