Janice Stein on the cbc said tonight the worst of this US-Iran potential

attacks would be born by Iraq in a civil war. I agree. They were most of the victims tonight. I agree with her and think if ISIS is able to rebuild in the current vacuume the Iraqis will be the victims not the US or Iran.

if that could go on for another 24 hours that would be good for diffusing the situation. I just heard that he did tweet and say he will be making a statement tomorrow morning.

Stein said Soleimani was carrying messages from Iran to the Saudis through the Iraqi PM and if that dialogue could be revived somehow it would be a good day for prospective peace.

What other brokers for peace might there be ? Who in Europe? Lots of sane folks there. Trump and Iran need an intervention. Pronto.
