But I suspect the prince and putin are behind this , and it was all planned out and why lavrov and putin have been meeting with trump , and now the prince's people met with trump in the oval office. They want to split up Iran's oil. They also want higher oil prices for profits for themselves, while weakening Iran in the area, and of course trump wants attention away from impeachment, and in return for trump doing this they'll help him rig the election for him. This was a planned event starting back when trump changed the iran nuclear agreement, and wanted this to happen. Putin is getting what he's wanted, weaken us , get more oil revenues, and steal oil to increase his power , and laugh at trump. trumps being told what to do. I also fear trump will try to find someone that'll use nuclear weapons for him there. That's his pattern.

4. The US getting expelled from Iraq certainly benefits Russia.

Maybe Khomeni and Soleimani weren't really besties and he made a deal with Putin to take down a potential challenger to his political power in exchange for the US making a show of blustering, then backing down, then Trump claiming he deserves the Nobel prize for withdrawing troops from the Middle East and preventing a war.

6. I agree with the premise of this post

and have also said the same. Trump got caught in a bind, I'm sure he promised Saudi Arabia and Israel that he would handle Iran but then his daddy showed up. It's going to be interesting to see how Trump saves face, how he explains to SA and Israel, it's over?
Putin comes in to be the peace maker, once again Putin saves the day, how convenient. Putin must some good shit on Trump the way he is playing him.

The both immediate and long term damage to the U.S, in regards to escalating political division at home, increased social unrest, loss of international prestige, loss of international allies, long term drain on our economy from another protracted war, U.S. attention diverted from continued Russian Empire building moves etc. , may be worth it to Putin
