Why are some Democrats second-guessing Nancy Pelosi on releasing the Articles to the Senate?

Why are they in such a big hurry?

Maybe she would like to get a commitment from John Bolton to testify before the House Intel before she makes a decision?

Because every effort will be made by this White House, including executive privilege, to keep him from testifying. It is not a certainty that he will.

Perhaps Pelosi would like to get that commitment from McConnell before she releases the Articles?

Although there is not much anyone can do to stop McConnell from making the rules if he has the votes in his caucus, there is nothing that says Pelosi has to turn over the Articles immediately. I think she would be wise to hold them for a few days. Naturally, the Repubs would accuse her of holding them up for no reason, but I don't think that argument carries a lot of weight.

Also, Chuck Schumer has been doing a good job at messaging the Articles from a political viewpoint, but I think he might be more effective if he were less obvious politically and spoke more about our national security. Just my opinion.

like the Republican party.

The Democratic Party encompasses different opinions and thoughts. That in itself can be a pain in the ass, but overall it looks like democracy.

Pretty sure she could poop vanilla ice cream and fart rainbows on the House floor and those same people would hate that too. Just sayin.

On a more reflective note, I do think that Pelosi and a selected few have done an excellent job of illustrating exactly what the Senate GOP is trying to do. Not completely certain that the less informed voters out there are aware of when it comes to the depths the GOP will sink to to protect the orange anus. Holding those articles of impeachment has done an excellent job of keeping it in front of the news cycle on all the networks.

As more evidence has come out, including emails that show Trump orchestrated the whole thing himself. Also, that the OMB was holding back 20 pages of emails which they refuse to make public.

Also, the fact that John Bolton has said he will testify in a Senate trial, if he is subpoenaed?

Also, the fact that Trump may have gotten us into a war with his assassination plots?

A lot has happened since the Articles of Impeachment were first passed.

Maybe women aren’t capable of complex thought.

It’s crazy to think any decade long political figure doesn’t have a plan. Especially Pelosi who shows all the time that she’s at least a half step in front of the poop-prezdent.
