Homeless center fundraiser

This is in my town. A local church group has taken on the main responsibility of getting the building and hiring staff but there are still so many expenses.

Right now we do not have a shelter for our growing homeless population. They currently live in tents in local parks, behind a car dealership and in a wooded area next to Walmart. Last night we had rain, which turned to sleet and freezing rain. We are under a winter storm warning. Our roads are a sheet of ice and we are predicted to get 6 inches of snow on top. Our homeless population has nowhere to go.

I'm including a link to a Facebook fundraiser. I know a few people who are heavily involved and I trust the money will all go to opening and operating. If you are able to donate a buck or two please consider it.

I'm on the list to work as a volunteer but time is all I can aford at the moment. Itm, it keeps getting colder and NWS Pleasant Hill has deemed our storm as dangerous, with no places for dozens to take shelter.

We have several inches of snow. We dropped the ball locally this time but hopefully we can have a shelter ready for the next storm.
