(29,322 posts)It reminded me of a mix of Miami & Phoenix though obviously much smaller. I saw Baghdad once at night I remember going over a bridge and through 3 traffic circles.
The closest I have been all other times was Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) which was a huge military base at the time.

(33,643 posts)Where I've never been ... have been to Salt Lake City but it was long ago and night time ... it certainly COULD have looked like that ...
It's probably like China or Russia or someplace that one wouldn't expect ...
