Ed Asner's having none of Trump's nonsense this morning: "Lies."

Ed Asner ✔ @TheOnlyEdAsner

Lies. You are not protecting preexisting conditions. Also, let’s talk about the fact that the per month price of medical insurance for a middle class family is at least the price of their mortgage or more.

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump

I stand stronger than anyone in protecting your Healthcare with Pre-Existing Conditions. I am honored to have terminated the very unfair, costly and unpopular individual mandate for you!

Rubio introduced into the 2015 Omnibus bill causing the ACA premiums to skyrocket upward just before the 2016 election claiming the plan was failing the people, all while knowing they were behind the increases. trump pledged he would undermine it also. Then their tax scam bill was used to hurt Medicaid , Medicare, and Social Security also hurting people;s health care kicking many off those programs from increased costs and less coverage, and now he wants you to believe he's for getting you health care. Anyone believing his lies and BS deserve to lose their entitled programs from voting for this crook and serial liar. Just like he claimed Mexico would pay for the wall, and now he taking billions we paid into the treasury for it , while driving the deficit higher from giving billions forever to the wealthy, but can't give us the best health care plan in the world. trumps just a professional con man and a fraud telling people anything BUT the truth about health care , and everything else. When he says he's for covering pre-existing conditions, while tying to prevent them with court actions you should realize he's working to hurt you , not help you.

It's the largest monthly expense we have ever had in our 50 years of marriage.
More than our combined mortgage and the new 2003 car we bought new and still drive.
Today the cost of a new vehicle to replace the 2003 would cost more monthly than our home mortgage did.

for my family of 3 in addition to the $4000 per person deductible. We are self employed and thus self insured. Most insurance companies do not want to compete in the individual market and in fact, only two companies sell plans in that market in MT. One of the two companies (BCBSH of MT) sells plans that are so outrageously priced because they really don’t want much if any of the individual market meaning there is only one company that sells plans to individuals like me. In reality, they can charge whatever they want because there’s no competition. We are not eligible for subsidies so buying insurance through the ACA marketplace isn’t worth the hassle because the plans offered are the same as what’s available to me right now. I don’t think a lot of people know what it’s like to be self insured...it’s difficult. I can’t imagine what it would be like to not have to pay these astronomical premiums and deductibles.

politicians' constant need for money to hold their offices.

As I said in an earlier post my wife and I spend $775.00 per month for health insurance. If we then add in co-pays we are spending $10,000+ per year for the two of us and we are on Medicare. Just imagine what the $10,000 would do to help the economy in our local community. We for sure would be buying a newer car for part of that $10,000. Or supporting other local businesses.

The country needs a national healthcare solution. One solution that covers everyone. Birth to grave coverage.
I don't know how we get there but let me offer these three suggestions.
1. get rid of Citizen United. Eliminate dark money and foreign money buying elections.
2. term limits so serving in Congress isn't a way to become a millionaire.
3. public funding for qualified candidates.

The republicans seem to fight every small move forward. The ACA helped provide insurance 20+ million individuals. Now they have managed to disassemble it piece by piece. Their latest attack is to get rid of the pre-existing coverage.

To prove how wrong they are and THEY know it. The Trump administration has asked SCOTUS to delay the decision of the healthcare case that is now before the court. DELAY IT TO AFTER THE 2020 ELECTION.
