NASA certificate

My wife was sorting through old piles of stuff and found this. It was too big to fit in my scanner, so I had to scan the top and then the bottom and then glue the two images together in Photoshop. You can see the line near the top where the two images overlap.

She also found a certificate for Apollo 8, but that one's jammed into the frame. Instead of trying to get it out to scan it, and risk damaging it, I'll try taking a photo with my phone. I don't know how well that will work.

I used my phone. Thought I had it perfectly straight. Oh, well. Maybe I'll try to fix it in the future.

Did you happen to know my personal hero... John Aaron?

He shuns all publicity or I would have tried very hard to get his autograph (and I am not some autograph hound).

Anyway, very very cool...

I am myself a 10 year veteran of NASA (Ames, NAS facility), but much later. Somewhere in my storage unit I have a "Space Act Award" for my work on EOS in the 1990s.

I thank you for your service.
