The major, historic, Moscow Mitch blunder led Pelosi to hold back the articles. (Original Post) shockey80 Jan 2020 OP
You mean his admission of partiality and coordination w/ the WH? Dennis Donovan Jan 2020 #1
Just think, had she NOT held back the articles, the trial would already be over. Zolorp Jan 2020 #2

Yep, that was tactically DUMB on his part.

And none of what is coming out now would mean a damned thing.

since investigations continue more Articles can be brought, he can be impeached again... there are further actions to be taken should he be acquitted this time. There is a pile of offenses to choose from. And, at this point, if the Senate acquits it shows complicity in a coverup, as the Speaker said many times this week.

The media wouldn't play it because Trump had already been acquitted. It would be yesterday's news to them and thus, no play.

This way, Republicans are faced with an ever increasing pile of evidence as to the wrongdoing. GAO just declared the OMB violated the law by withholding the Ukraine aid. And they are going to have to vote on acquittal with all this evidence of guilt piling up.

And I agree further action will be taken all year long.

But at this moment in this trial, everything points to guilt and more evidence comes to light every day. If the Senate becomes accomplices in cover up, it WILL hurt them in November and they will likely LOSE the Senate.

Pelosi is the most masterful politician to ever hold the Speaker's gavel.

become known as the greatest Speaker in our history. She is the most qualified and, as you say, masterful Speaker I have seen in the several decades I have been paying attention.
