Then what?
We'll end up with a "rapture" -believing religious nutcase as President.

If he even bothered to run in 2020, he'd be a pushover holding all of Trump's leftover baggage. And zero charisma to boot.

(50,559 posts)Because Pence can't win a presidential election on his own merits and he DEFINITELY can't win one after being second-in-command to the first president to be thrown in prison for his actions during his administration, his time in the White House will end on 1/20/21. He knows that. And he's okay with that. He goes down in history as the 46th President of the United States, they play Hail to the Chief when he walks into a room, and all he really has to do is sign appropriations acts and wave at crowds.
If Trump gets kicked out of the White House, anyone associated with him immediately becomes radioactive. My question is, how far down the ticket does Trump's stench cause damage? I would LOVE it if city councilors and county commissioners who support Trump get bounced out of office, but I don't know if that's going to happen.
