Reporters will be banned from hallways and open spaces before, during, and after the trials.

They will be screened in a very detailed way, escorted one by one to a roped area, and won't be allowed any electronics. So to file a story, they have to take notes, request an escort to a phone, file their story, and get escorted back.

And of course, there will be first among equals, so some networks will have an advantage in getting messages out.

No cards will be required, at least during the trials. But once they get a taste for it, they may keep the rules around.

excuse me, I just had a bowel movement and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Can you direct to the national archives that I might cleanse my rectum with the constitution?

When I worked for a government agency where it was possible that an employee could be physically in danger, we were instructed to tell the threatening person that you needed something to help them - dial security and say "I need supplies"

We all thought that it was hilarious as often the phone went unanswered when we called security.
I'm retired now, but that reminded me of the "good old days."
