Facebook bias

Sooo I am a social media political warrior. I frequent media sites and post lots of facts that aren’t widespread that I “mine” here. It makes me feel like I am doing something.

It’s a testament to overall Republican-owned broadcast media censorship and mind boggling that three years in and not a single broadcast media outlet has addressed Melania’s 👽nudity or gay porn. It’s readily available on Google.

In my “battles” I have posted 👽 pics (which have pasties on strategic parts) for holier-than-thou MAGAts. The posts were alerted on FB and I was warned about standards. Even in DU I believe that posting 👽 pics would result in some administrative action.

So the point is the irony of rules that allegedly “protect” people from exposure to vile content doubly protect the subjects of the vile. When such content is of a public figure of the stature of Melania 👽 people should know.

The Republican owned media made Michelle Obama’s arms a travesty should not get away with hiding Melania Trump’s exponentially worse portfolio. If you can paste pics of a ring on a dismembered hand or a bloody corpse on a fence then you should damned well be able to post the porno of the “first” porn star.

Additionally I have recently seen pics “cartoons” circulating on FB of Schiff fellating Trump. I know that this is gross but it’s relative to the topic in that I alerted FB 5 TIMES about such content from one post they did not take the pic down.

I know that I can get off FB. I know many here never use it. That’s a given. The whole point is the biases...knowing what they are — although it’s been obvious for a while... the extent is jaw dropping.

That's a feature, not a bug. I have been off FB since November (had a flood in my house - long story) and I do not miss it at all.

Most of the stuff on there is kinda crap anyway. I used to see posts from old friends, but I don't know if I've lost anything by eliminating FB from my life.

Besides, it gives me more time to lurk on DU.

I have a bipartisan thread from my university that I post on. Whenever some RWer starts a thread denigrating any Dem's morality I post those pics of Melania, with strategic parts blurred out. It drives them nuts! They generally either abandon the thread or throw a fit.

Melania did full nudes with simulated masturbation, and she did lesbian full nuds with simulated co masturbation. There is zero wrong with that IMO, she was a young pretty model in this country illegally, she was just making a living. But the fact that Michelle's arms were a multi month long scandal on FOX News and this is not a blip is the height of hypocrisy.

I also like to remind them that Trump paid off a porn star who he had unprotected sex with when Melania was home pregnant with Baron.

5. You're not changing any minds by posting her nudes.

I personally DGAF - she did what she wanted with her considerable beauty, like 1,000s of women all over the planet have done. The photos are pretty soft-core, honestly.

FB has made a conscious choice to regulate speech and content in a narrowly focused way. They are a private corporation, not beholden to the 1st Amendment. They're not going to save us.

6. Yeah so why allow fellatio related pics (penis in mouth)?

I do not expect FB to save us / me. I am highlighting who and what they are for many who don’t realize the extent. Not long ago I defended FB and its potential for good—especially when they experienced massive losses. Seeing more clearly their lack of fairness — and as a private entity I recognize that they have every right to operate as they wish — it is still better to know exactly who and what you are dealing with. It’s one thing to censor and apply standards fairly it’s another to not do so based on politics.

It's strange; I never see any of the things you're discussing, but then again, I'm in a 99% Librul bubble on FB.

8. I hate FB, it is a contracted tool of the RNC and support lies - for profit of course.

Anything even a little dodgy about drumpf is removed but they allow any atrocity to be posted by rw and won't remove it. Unfortunately I have friends and family from around the world that I mainly communicate with through FB. I'm not willing to give that up at this point. I won't buy anything from their ads, ever, but just not ready to lose the connections yet.
