Mostly staid, with hints of personal expression

susan ‘concerned’ collins - shook her head as she walked away from the book. Is aggravating.

Then a few later, cruz signed and pulled down his jacket upon stepping away,

graham signed quickly, then darted off

grassley took his time signing, then turned toward the camera with a typical grumpy face

(viewing interrupted...)

mcconnell grew an extra chin, with his mouth slightly agape upon stepping forward and past the table

rubio muttered something upon leaving the table

Despite all the koolaid sloshing around.

Not sure what I was expecting, but collins’ smirk and head shake made me think, I dunno, that there’d be winks or hand gestures.

Felt their spines at work as they leaned down to sign the book. One at a time they signed. Each one. Wasn’t just graham and mcconnell that took the one pen.

The mic at the dais wasn't turned off and you could hear. After Roberts was sworn in by Grassley, after the handshake, you could hear Grassley say "God bless you" to him.

I thought the procession to the oath signing book was appropriately serious. Just for fun, I counted 13 lefthanders among the Senators which right in line with the percent of the general population.
