She was massively prepared and it showed, but getting there would be (undoubtedly) nerve-wracking.

I understand he would be there. Did anyone else notice that he basically didn't take his eyes off Rachel? Pretty much the whole time except for a few times when he glanced down at what notes Rachel was taking. I would have been nervous too if a lawyer was staring at me like that. Its not how people generally act. I didn't see the Parnas lawyer look at Lev once.

Did you notice when Parnas' responses were partially cut off? That's when he jumped in.

Topics not discussed: Parnas and Fruman's work for Dmitri Firtash.

I think he was in awe of Racheal's questioning style. As an attorney he was studying her and thinking 'She'd make a damn good prosecutor.'

She was running on adrenaline. I cannot fathom how intelligent that woman is.

I have been concerned for her security every day. Hope she has her very own goons by her side!

This latest report puts her squarely on the front page. Let's hope she's well protected.

I didn't see it (listened on XM), but it did sound "heavy," almost funereal.

EDIT: Knowing what a perfectionist Maddow is, she probably studied materials all night before the interview, or maybe insomnia.

after the first document dump, it all came together very, very quickly. Also the reason she was up all night, plus she wasn't in the studio, so her make up, was likely different, plus we are used to seeing her with the lighting in her studio.
