Trump to roll back Michelle Obama's school lunch rules on vegetables, fruits

The Trump administration on Friday announced plans to roll back school lunch standards on vegetables and fruits originally promoted by Michelle Obama, unveiling the proposal on the former first lady's birthday.

The new standards will allow schools more flexibility "because they know their children best," the Agriculture Department said in a press release.

“Schools and school districts continue to tell us that there is still too much food waste and that more common-sense flexibility is needed to provide students nutritious and appetizing meals. We listened and now we’re getting to work,” Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said in a statement.

The appointees are on an all out search and destroy mission. It is an onslaught on all fronts and will continue.

Not only do their actions reverse or weaken the agencies they run and remove the benefits they are intended to provide to the people they serve, but these they also serve Trump's agenda to condition the public by way of dissonance, chaos, confusion, loss of trust, shock, etc. Purdue, Carson, DeVos and the rest are carrying out their orders as per the underlying scheme, IMHO.

It's a two-pronged approach and a gradual, slow obliteration of what holds us together as a nation. It is hard to find one agency or public institution that has not been covered by Trump's actor/character in one way or another. The deleterious effect is not all that subtle, either. However it is attributed to him, rather than the persona he has crafted and uses to accomplish his goal. I think the premeditated facade is what makes it work so well, actually. It is very believable and effective.

This next election is so pivotal and even more so when you see the methods and the act and the potential outcome of the end game he is playing for in his show.
