Up until today I would bet it all that there is no path to removing him from office. But today the local news took time to educate us on what happens if he is removed.

This tells me they see a chance it can happen and are setting up just in case. My idea is it only happens if God calls Mitch home to judgement day. But because of this with the local news I might go a fraction of a percent chance the Republican party bosses might push Mitch to let it happen.

I still think it's a long shot that he'll be removed, but until the last few days, it wasn't even a long shot - it was a stone cold impossibility.

The fact that there's now even the remotest chance he could be convicted shows we've come a long way in recent days, weeks, and months.

And who knows how much further this will go now that an impeachment trial is no longer a remote, nebulous thing, but a reality, the country is paying close attention, and we're getting new bombshell revelation nearly every day?
