Trump is lying. None of the three bills passed by the Virginia Senate take away, or ban ownership of guns, “Three bills that will prohibit firearm possession in public spaces, limit monthly handgun purchases and require background checks for firearm transfers passed the state Senate on Thursday, marking the first of stronger gun-control legislation proposed by the new Democratic majority in the General Assembly.”

1. The hard core, 2nd Amendment-addicted gun nuts are a very paranoid bunch.

They have no skills at controlling their fears like a normally developed adult.
They are emotionally equivalent to toddlers, and their security blanket is firearms.
It's very easy for characters like Trump to get them all riled up.

To my knowledge, every gun owner I know (including myself in the past I no longer hunt) is a sportsman.

Hunting, skeet shooting, etc.

The thing is, they all own 1-3 firearms. Single shot rifles and shotguns.

I never hear any of them talk about getting their rights trampled, or gun confiscation,
or protecting themselves from marauding hordes of East Coast Liberal Elites.

The only whining I hear is about the cost of deer tags and ammo.
