Pompeo in Jamaica - CARICOM is very upset that only some Caribbean territories were

invited to the meeting with Pompeo.

Both Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago have stayed away. The Bajan PM, Mia Mottley is Chairman of CARICOM and made it clear that she could not send her Foreign Minister. T&T said they would not subscribe to the divide and conquer approach.

This is not a happy gathering - even Holness sounds rather tentative about the omission of other CARICOM territories but as usual he deferred to his owners.

Please note that Pompeo told the Caribbean people that the US has made it clear who they want to lead the OAS.
