But how will he respond?

He's the richest guy in the world. He has anyone he wants at his disposal to undertake a technical counterattack. He can shut down any and all Amazon services to any Saudi customer. He can hack to his heart's content. He can use the WP to report, report, report. Every single day. About Saudi attacks.

Attending some sort of service is fine. He may even be sincere. And that's fine as far as it goes. But the USG is going to do squat-all about this. What does the richest guy in the world do?

9. Bezos is not richer than MBS

MBS is far, far richer. He may even be a trillionaire. People like saudi royal family, Putin, and other leaders that have effectively captured and personalized the wealth of a nation are richer than any westerner.

Also, there's power of a nation that isn't wealth. Bezos has no sovereignty. MBS does.
