CNN just had major breaking news that the Senate KGOP is rallying behind executive privilege to block subpoenas and Lisa Murkowski, a needed vote, has said today she is offended by the house managers, and that its not her job to fight executive privilege in court.
The sham and coverup is complete.

(21,600 posts)public support is already behind removal and its only going to grow if more evidence comes out. so to protect drumpf their only choice is to "look like shit" by making the trial a sham instead of REALLY REALLY looking like shit by letting all the evidence come out and ignoring it. it is the lesser of two evils for them.

(3,647 posts)The facts will emerge over time and those who favor evidence and witnesses now will be mad as hell about what is eventually revealed. If Bolton's book has some bombshells the anger could have a great impact on the upcoming election. The repubs might go down in flames.
