Then went on to relate giuliani’s August 9 meeting with Yermak (Zelensky’s top aide) in Madrid.

He provided texts between giuliani, officials, and Yermak surrounding the Madrid meeting showing language consistent with the various sides of the discussion fully aware of perquisites for a meeting amounting to a quid pro quo.

Also included the phone records showing giuliani contacting the WH via calls and texts along the time giuliani was meeting with Yermak in Madrid.

These days it's called "fact checking".

Look the defense is going to be the ridiculous and obviously contradictory pablum of talk radio and Fox News. The one that kills me is that Trump couldn't defend himself (his lawyer's were invited in the House) because there was no direct testimony from fact based witnesses (there was). That's the ACTUAL SECOND ARTICLE OF IMPEACHMENT.

I'd really love to see that.

Thu Jan 23, 2020, 10:05 PM

DOD had to do a certification - and that is what was done. And knowing that the funding would expire by the end of the fiscal year, they got their approval done and announced with just barely enough time to get it obligated by September 30 ASSUMING it wasn't held up.

But as we know, it WAS held up, and eventually Congress had to pass legislation in order to revise the funding stipulations so that the portion not able to be obligated in time, could cross fiscal years.

Floridians who've watched her here are going to keep her in office. She's she's good optics for the state and the South, and she upped the state's rep a notch. Garcia from Texas did the same for that region.

Our team is from every region of the country, and those regions have got to feel elevated by the brilliance and professionalism of their Democrats, and this builds much more trust in the party nationwide.
