So their "heads will be on a pike" if they don't obey. What a slimy bunch of cowards republicans

must be. If there was ever a demonstration of the need for term limits this is it. If they couldn’t be re-elected anyway, how would they then vote on trumps impeachment. If threats of being decapitated and having your head placed on display as a warning to any and all who might follow your lead are what currently passes for republican policy, decorum and debate tactics, then clearly a very serious chance must exist that the senate may convict and remove trump.

What legitimate organization treats it’s members in such a fashion? The only organizations that I think act in this manner are criminal in nature. Organized crime and terrorists: the Mob, outlaw motorcycle gangs, MS-13, Isis, The Taliban, White Nationalists, the Aryan Brotherhood., etc.

So the republicans see a desperate need to threaten their members in order to maintain their self ordained belief in their right to rule. Clearly power has thoroughly corrupted at least the upper echelon of the Republican hierarchy. What’s sickly climate of fear they must be operating in. They can have no real belief in right, just self righteousness. No sense of honor. No sacrifice for the nation, just self dealing for personal enrichment.

Who would want to belong to such a group?

They need to understand that we will rub their faces in Trump's shit if they don't vote to convict.

Dirt or no. This is the United States SENATE, and since we're the ONLY thing between you and a stint in a federal penitentiary, THREATENING US is not in your best interest.

I dunno...i guess I'm smart enough to remember how that worked out for Ceasar. But then again, THAT senate actually understood how 'checks and balances' worked, even if their process needed some tweaking lol.

If I were a Republican Senator and Trump threatened that, I'd be very pissed at him, and I'd be determined not to let him dictate my job to me.

But, alas, none of them give a damn as long as they've got their millions. What they need to be reminded of is that mob bosses like Trump want absolute loyalty, and each time the test of that loyalty gets bigger and harder. So what's the test next time for them?

When asked to give one example of tRump's concern about corruption, Lankford said he'll compile a list and get back to them later.
