did Trump do this? Did he have someone make fifty-some-odd phone calls and repeat the same phrase over and over again? Did they shoot a mass email to all in the GOP? I mean, this shouldn't be difficult to verify if it happened. And all it would take is one single recipient to file a federal complaint...

...understand that once the Lyin’ King is removed, he won’t have the power to put anyone’s “head on a pike.”

The level of cowardice in the so-called “upper chamber” astounds more and more each day.

we need 67 votes, we only have 47.

all the republicans know damn well he's getting acquitted. the crap is all for the political effect, donnie wants as few as possible republicans bolting, ideally zero, but in any even not more than 3 because having a majority voting for removal would be politically damaging, even if it falls far short of the 2/3rds needed for removal.

the fact that threatening senators is yet another impeachable offense is something that escapes republican senators....

Of all Presidents who have been impeached, Trump has the best case for removal against him. It’s not even close.

But he’ll be acquitted because of GOP cravenness and cowardice. This country truly is lost.

Will there even BE an “America” by the year 2025...?

No court would hold this statement, in the context it was given to be a "true threat" rather than crude political hyperbole. Which is the Constitutional standard.
