I could not disagree more strongly with Schiff and his managers that we can't trust American voters to decide who should be their president. They could do without his disdain for opinion of the American people and for the durability of our representative republic.

Rep. Adam Schiff: "The president's misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box. For we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won."

(905 posts)It's always about the money. As a woman, McSally's take from Russian-laundered rubles is considerably less than her male Rethuglican counterparts.
She knew, as every senator sitting in that well knew, Schiff (who has access to so much more intelligence information than we'll ever get to hear), was speaking to how the Russians, with Rethuglican complicity, will once again hack into voter registration databases to throw a Presidential election.
McSally's fake assertion that Schiff was throwing shade on voters is her big play to say to the Russians, "Look at me! Look at me! Why is my take so much smaller than the men of my party? Whaaa! Whaaa!"
