The Democratic House Managers Succeeded...

...in what they set out to do.

They had two goals, and neither of them was "Get the Senate to remove [Redacted] from office." They're not stupid, yanno.

No, the two goals were:

1. Get the American voters to remove [Redacted] from office; and

2. Substantially increase Democratic chances of flipping the Senate in the general election.

I believe they succeeded admirably in achieving both goals, but of course we'll have to wait eleven months to know for sure.

But if it happens, yep... the past three days played a major part in making it happen.

Thank you, Representatives Schiff, Crow, Demings, Garcia, Jeffries, Lofgren, and Nadler, and above all, THANK YOU, Speaker Pelosi.

I have never seen a higher-stakes political hand played with more cool effectiveness.

appreciatively,
Bright

What a strong group of Democrats! Proud of all of them. Adam Schiff, though, stands heads and shoulders above the rest. He was truly passionate and showed great clarity around the risks we face with our loss of democracy.

Each and every one, but Schiff had me in tears. His closing comments were powerful.

... from registered republicans who didn't vote.

That's what one can get by hacking the voter roles, registered voters to add to the counting.

We should hand count and wait the half day to get it done, screw this ... this is too important

... Don's team upon republican senators.

If everything was in the bag for Red Don the threats and histrionics wouldn't be needed.
