They have de facto declared the president to have the absolute authority and not subject to accountability. He has the power of a dictator and not subject to the rule of law. Its the end of what the Founding Fathers fought and died for. The scumbag filthy
Republicans have won their fifty year battle with a totally warped bizarre interpretation of the Second Article of the Constitution. If Trump succeeds in being reelected or even if they Republicans must wait until another election, if they are elected they have been given the power to totally decimate the checks and balances system and create their utopian government of plutocrats.

..... witnesses or documents. Then that senate should quickly go right to a vote to deny the need for additional documents or witnesses - even though new facts not yet known keep coming to be revealed daily and hourly.

But the head legal councilor Cipollone never came to the podium and basically hid under the large wooden table. Cipollone knows his ass is on fire because he did not reveal to the court that he was a witness of fact and was an active participant in the extortion/cover up scheme against Ukraine/USA.

Just to be a bastard Schumer should have Roberts declare the case a mistrial because Cipollone should never have been at the White House defense table during the senate impeachment trial or been involved during the entire House impeachment hearings process. Start from scratch with a new senate impeachment trial. While Cipollone is in jail awaiting a hearing why he deceived the effort to find a fair and just resolution to this matter.

They should be shot by firing squad. Fuck with justice, fuck with elections, fuck with Democracy, fuck with court proceedings.... here is a hollow point bullet for your brain.

Boy these Fascist clowns would think twice before pulling this Nazi crap.

I've given to a couple of Presidential candidates, and to the re-election campaign of my Congressman, Defazio. They're all people who I'd like to be a constituent of. When McGrath announced I sent her a donation, simply because she was running against McConnell. and your bank account can absorb. That's my philosophy this year, and I know I'm going to over-extend myself somewhat, but the situation demands it. I'm at an age where my mortality is catching up with me. I can't take it with me, and when I look at my grandchildren I realize there might not be a future for them in this country without some sacrifice on my, and many other's, parts.

Do what you can. That may not be monetarily, but there are hundreds of ways to help elect Democrats. Don't leave anything on the table and wish you'd done more. Just my two cents.

I set up monthly for both of them today. The amounts are small, but I hope to increase them as the year goes on. Right now I’m giving to a few of our presidential candidates, Ben Ray Lujan for Senate and Valerie Plame. I’ll give more once we have a presidential candidate selected.

And work? Absolutely. We have a lot to do. I think my decisions will be easier once the primaries begin.

Happy campaigns to us all!

We started practicing law at about the same time. He used to work for Robert Fogelnest, who, while maybe not a household name, is one of the preeminent criminal defense lawyers of the last 50 years. I'll be honest, when I first heard that he was presenting Lev my first thought was "Oh no, I can't believe a guy I have that much respect for got sucked into the Giuliani, John Dowd, Joe DiGenova cesspool" But I happened to see him in December, just as this all started, and after talking to him I was confident that he was going to at least try to take these fuckers on. And he certainly has.

Lindsey Graham getting the vapors all of a sudden and becoming Trump's personal chode polisher?
Nunes running around constantly doing the most profoundly stupid and self-incriminating nonsense?
No testimony from Perry, or Pompeo, or Giuliani, or Barr?
Barr's interference and killing Mueller?
Trump's obvious and stupid lies? ("Honestly, I don't even know...<insert lackey here>...you have to talk to them.&quot
McCarthy's "jokes" about who was being paid off in closed door, assumed "safe" setting?

Russia?
Putin?
Erdogan?
Kim?
Bibi?

It is all inter-woven and all obviously corrupt and against our national interest.
And they do not care.
At all.
About any of it.

Is Trump guilty of abuse of power? Do bears shit in the woods?
Is Trump guilty of obstruction of Congress? Yes, but only 1/2 of the Congress because the GOP bitches are getting PAID...

It is the biggest corruption scheme in the history of the Republic...cooked up by a career con-man and his idiotic enablers in the red fucking hats and angry middle finger wagging.

Turn out the lights, the republic's over.
Get ready to fight, because lack of resistance is capitulation and being a "Good German" is no excuse, its about as effective as "I was just following orders..."

Trump WILL launch nuclear weapons in October this year, that is a given on the current glide path...there is also no path to being free of him short of his eventual death. Who is going to stop him? How? He already is on record asking why not?...the answer is clearly now, "well, you choose Trumpy Bear...why not?"

Beat him at the ballot box?
Not a "legitimate" election...

Bring him up on additional impeachment charges for obstruction of justice (not congress)?
DOA under Moscow Mitch and the Night Riders...

Accountability?
Dead.

Truth?
Gone.

Republic?
History.
