Some candidates and their supporters are already gloating. Gloating!
Where is our sense of fairness? I don't know who came out on top in Iowa. Nobody does. Not until every precinct's results are counted.
Now, the Iowa Democratic party says they might release 50% of the results today and the rest, well...sometime...maybe.
No results should be released until every last precinct's results are in. Anything less than that is a total travesty!
I don't know how the candidates rank, but I sure want to know. Correctly and fully!
Dammit!
This all makes the Democratic Party look incompetent and foolish. It needs to stop right now! If it doesn't, say hello to Mike Bloomberg as the Democratic nominee. He'll be in all of the primaries starting on Super Tuesday.
Damn!

(146,324 posts)It was a cosmic clusterf**k, and an embarrassment to the entire Democratic Party, frankly. It will cost the Democrats tens of thousands of votes, just because it happened.
And those supporters of various candidates who are gloating about this will cost the party even more votes and hurt the very candidates they support.
Iowa must release all of the results as a final count. Period. Anything other than that will expand the damage from their disastrous decisions about their precious caucuses.

(58,785 posts)is convincing some clueless sorts that this is as big or bigger than the traitorous Republicans turning the senate over to the executive branch, but that's the way it is.
No one, whether informed or yammering know-nothings, will give a damn before long.
