Ann Coulter novels

Last edited Fri Sep 7, 2012, 06:40 PM - Edit history (1)

I haven't bought any books written by Ann Coulter for about 4 years. I just can't bring myself to support her when I find her vile, arrogant, and a racist. I don't have any desire to help fill her pocketbook

Post remark:
Sorry folks, I mixed up the authors. I did buy books written by Catherine Coulter. I don't have ANY books written by Ann Coulter. Never did and definitely never will. I still stand on my opinion that Ann Coulter is vile. I hope Catherine Coulter isn't related to Ann "vile" Coulter!

She writes mysteries, etc. Her books are stories not biographies or anything related to politics. Just like numerous authors like Linda Howard or Sandra Brown

What does it say about a party when a large majority of its female spokespeople are shrill, vindictive harpies and guttersnipes?

I am not now, nor have I ever been a sexist, or a racist. I may be guilty of using obtuse language to call out people who act hysterically (Yes, I know the derivation of this word) when confronted with opposing view points. Rush, Sean, O Rielly, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter et al, all tend to get loud and agitated when railing against anything proposed by any democrat. And, we are now seeing the same level of animosity aimed at those republicans who do not follow the party line.
My idol is Rachel Maddow, who tends to refer to facts and hold her ground when confronted. The republican women - and men - could all learn from her. So, call me what you will, but those who really know me; know that I am none of those things you accuse me of.

or "guttersnipe." IIRC street urchins of all types were called "guttersnipes" in Dickens' works. Common though dated British English noun, it seems to me. "Vindictive" just means vicious and nasty. Anyone can be shrill or vindictive. "Harpy" refers to some nasty creature from Greek mythology as far as I can recall.

I prefer to call that one "Annthrax" or "the Coultergeist."

I think you're thinking of novelist Catherine Coulter, maybe? Even though Ann Coulter's stuff has no relation to reality, it is not officially classified as fiction.

You are correct. I went back & looked at my books and they are Catherine Coulter. I don't have ANY written by Ann Coulter, nor will I ever.

I hope Catherine Coulter isn't related to Ann Coulter.

Thanks for catching my mistake

Case in point, her last book is entitled Demonic.

I predict her next book will be titled

Anti-Christ: How Barack Obama's Lame Duck Second Term Will Seriously Bring About the End of The World. (And Michelle is The Whore of Babylon).

Of course, there might be up to two dozen authors that could beat her with the premise and a similar title.
