lhan Omar Unveils Bold Proposal for US Foreign Policy 'Deeply Rooted in Justice'

From the article:

The plan calls for the U.S. to cease the "go-it-alone" strategy that has dominated the country's foreign policy for decades and to instead seek rapprochement with other countries and to prioritize human rights and other areas of global cooperation.

Path to PEACE includes seven pieces of legislation calling for Congressional approval of sanctions, the end of arms sales to human rights violators, and instituting policies aimed at protecting and promoting rights of children, among other issues.

"The United States can be an agent of peace and end the global refugee crisis if we elect members of Congress who will make this a priority," tweeted Jetpac executive director Mohammed Missouri.

But that's against our national religion, the High Church of Redemptive Violence. You don't see Americans celebrating peace makers publicly, certainly nothing like our national rituals glorifying the military and weapons of war.

Doing nothing about the increased militarization of our society hasn't done anything to blunt it; maybe Rep. Omar has an idea worth trying?

I have made the point that, looking at US history, there are very few times when the US has not been at war. Or looking for a war.

The economy is heavily based on war spending, but it is called defense spending to make it sound better. The real reason that the US cannot afford MFA, and free tuition, and rebuilding the infrastructure, and many other things, is in large part due to the enormous amount of money that is spent on war-related projects.

policy. It's just another indication of how far off track our government has come due to corruption,
treason and cultists.
