One thing that many first time protesters say is that they are surprised how good it feels to demonstrate in public.
Many also admit that they feel frightened as well.

8th grade, Kent State. Got me suspended. This is when dad and I parted ways.

Marched from Boston as part of the DNC2RNC March.

... it was the night before the House impeachment vote, my sisters and I attended the impeachment rally in downtown Pittsburgh.
Actually my sisters and I have participated in several rallies in the past few years, including the March for Our Lives and others. I'm more of a "warm-weather" protester, but this impeachment rally was really urgent.
