Republicans for the Rule of Law
About Us (them).....
See: https://www.ruleoflawrepublicans.com/about-us/
Do I support this group? NO.
Republicans have access to gazillions worth of money and know how to get it. We have far too many good Democratic candidates and causes that need our help, not to mention dozens of charities needing help....IMHO.
Despite that, I am grateful for their efforts and as someone said above, pleasantly shocked they pulled some strings and got these ran on Fox.

(15,286 posts)They're not so much worried about who is placing the ads. There have been many conservative/GOP ads run on MSNBC during political season.

Like you I appreciate their ads but I could never support them with even a dollar.

(14,576 posts)FINALLY. Some Republicans still seem to have a modicum of common decency, a sense of ethics, and remember how to put this country over their party.
Certainly, Moscow Mitch and his cronies in the Senate do not and have not. They are sitting back counting their money and allowing the republic to be destroyed.
And Trump? He has gone off the deep end into cruelty and hatred.
It is these people who are imbalanced, who are the shells. The rest of us have to fight to reimpose the rule of law on this country. This republic.

(13,114 posts)I question every Republican since they are known liars or lie supporters. Their seeming truths should be looked at with great reservation.

(37,160 posts)It's a subsidiary of Bill Kristol's "Defending Democracy Together", and former NJ governor Christine Todd Whitman is listed as one of the directors.
https://www.defendingdemocracytogether.org/about-us/
Most of the rest are flacks like Kristol: spent their adult lives cheerfully using division, hate, foam, and bile to build a reliable (and pliable) Republican voter base to give them the margin of victory, and thought that was fine right up until Trump & Putin kicked them out of the drover's seat.
I'm glad they're being more useful than usual by running anti-Trump ads on FOX instead of occupying talking-head show seats while people who would point out the Republicans have been a problem for years (e.g., Norm Ornstein) are still consigned to the wilderness.
Just the truth
