Published 9 hours ago on February 13, 2020 By Travis Gettys
President Donald Trump frequently interrupted briefings to satisfy his preoccupation with badgers when Wisconsin native Reince Priebus was his White House chief of staff.
According to the new book Sinking In The Swamp, the president peppered Priebus with questions about Wisconsins state animal during briefings about foreign and domestic policy, reported Business Insider.
After Trump was reminded that the short-legged omnivore was practically synonymous with the Badger State, hed make a point of bringing it up at seemingly random occasions to his beleaguered chief of staff, wrote authors Lachlan Markay and Asawin Suebsaeng.
Maybe he feels a kinship to badgers?
Badgers are solitary animals who are mainly active at night.
If threatened, they attack explosively with hissing, growling and biting.

Talk about nasty holes they carve out for their dens. Broke the Front wheel off a Tractor when I hit one of those Holes. Sucker tried to attack the friggin tractor.
The Ornage Anus would not have any idea what a Badger is was or are. Have to say, they most likely are smarter that he is.

(2,073 posts)I remember watching it dig the hole, flinging dirt a ridiculous distance. It was a grumpy bastard -- flat and mean and oddly charming. Even as a kid I knew to keep my distance from its den.

Thought the sucker would have bailed since the front wheel pretty much collapsed the Den,but, know way,the bugger had dug out his den with the wheel laying in the bottom and he was not going to give it up . Well the 12 gauge ended that stand off. What friggin mess retrieving that wheel. Had to replace the whole spindle on that Tractor.

(38,187 posts)the badgers does whatever he wants to do and if anything gets in his way, he destroys it. Who does that sound like? Trump does whatever he wants and most in our government are too spineless to bother to try to stop him. They just let him get away with it.
