let's be clear about Barr's interview.........

his complaint is that he cannot do the president's bidding if the president keeps bringing the microscope of the media down on him...... he wants the ability to obstruct justice in PRIVACY.

problematic Sadducee/Pharasee issues of which The Chosen One, having his own meltdowns, recklassly tweets, off on the Sanhedrin to cure his major headaches? That Trump approved Barr’s statement.
They probably convinced him that this was causing major problems, so now the Repubs can point to Barr’s “brave” statement to “prove” that Barr is independent and won’t let Trump use DOJ to punish his enemies and acquit his friends.

I knew there was no way Stone would go to jail for years, since he knows enough to put Trump in prison for the rest of his life.

won't let that happen. My guess is, if anything, tRump finds a way to funnel big bucks into Barr's off-shore account to keep him happy. Maybe some of that Defense money targeted for the Wall -- to be built by Barr Construction (no relation of course).

It has been Trump's job to daily divert attention from the hundreds and hundreds of corrupt things the Republican Senate and Republican Party were accomplishing at record speed with Trump blocking the view from their skulking. And of course, the Republican Owned media covers Trump, to help out with the diversion........

Barr is either going to be a historically prominent actor in a change in the nature of the USA and death of the Constitution as a hero in our descent into authoritarian fascism of a reviled figure should we be so fortunate to recover from this dark and vile period and immerge with a healthy functioning democratic republic.

24. Trump Is A Criminal
Fri Feb 14, 2020, 04:08 PM
Feb 2020

Trump is a criminal who has Abused the Power of his office. He is surrounded by accomplices and enablers who are engaged criminal cover-ups of the President's illegal activities. The Republicans in the Senate voted against Impeachment Acquittal, and so are now part of the criminal cover-up. Barr is just one of the chief accomplices and enablers of Trump's criminal activities.

Back in the day, when it became apparent that Nixon was involved in crimes, break-ins, and cover-ups over Watergate, many Congressional Republicans sided against Nixon and Nixon resigned before he could be impeached and tried in the Senate. So back then, some Republicans has principles and spines. Now the Senate Republicans have neither spines nor morals. Their vote to acquit Trump in the Impeachment trial amounts to an assistance of Trumps crimes, and so history will judge them as accomplices to the cover-up.

Of course we need to get the criminal Trump out of the office of President as soon as possible, which looks like the election in November 2020. If we do not, we might lose our democracy to a criminal authoritarian Tyrant who is getting away with criminal activity, corrupting and destroying our democracy.
