What I garnered from his books, which go back to pre-history and look toward the future is this. America's cherished, largely made up, shared stories most of believed in are failing us right and left and we have nothing to replace them. Hence, this mess. Discuss if you wish. Just my two cents.

The New Yorker published an article about him that got me interested. Not sure what to expect but will give it a try.

Im also reading Timothy Snyder, the Yale Historian. Im trying to figure out the odds of what is going to happen to our American/human lives.
